This is one of my Stone Age – Becoming series. materials, like life itself, are all connected and related, never static, always in transformation. In this series, one material seems to be gradually changing into another, reminding us that simply by changing the way we look at the world, we can change it.
This necklace features black baroque pearls and Caohua stone ( landscape stone) which was discovered only in 1996 in the remote country of Guanxi province in China. Formed at the stone age millions of years ago, this wonderful stone is one of my very favorurite, along with the glowing black baroque pearls, this necklace is as intriguing as any wonders in the world.
